Well, holy shit.
There ain't no better way to put this, other than...
Thank you.
Last night was evidence that this city believes in something truly beautiful, –and that's you. All of you. Whether you came to our little shabangabang for the comics, the booze, or the love, I want you to know that we felt it: that special heartwarming sense of everything coming together perfectly, just like the end of Breakfast Club when Judd Nelson raises his fist triumphantly into the air.
Because making comics is a lonely world –full of back-aching, wrist-cramping, long hours bent over a drafting table.... but last night, ya'll made "making comics" synonymous with sexy. That feat alone merits unfettered accolades and our profoundest gratitude.
So we're glad you braved the New York winds to join us last night. We hope ya had a great time. If you did, let us know; because we'll probably do the whole thing again. And the sequel's always better than the original, right?
On behalf of all of us at the Rabbit, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Sincerely,
Ben X. Trinh

The American Illustration 26 Release Party was last night. The new annual was on display as an advance copy, and all winning entries were hung on the wall.
Quite a few Rabid Rabbit contributors were in the show: Sam Weber, Jillian Tamaki, Aya Kakeda and of course, there was the "Night of the Rabid Rabbit" Cover by Sam Weber and Paul Hoppe.
It was a great evening. Many thanks to Mark Heflin and American Illustration.

Website Update
We've just updated the website with new information. There was some fine-tuning necessary, but most of all we've updated the list of comic-stores in the Shop Section. Now you can see that we're actually available in quite a few other cities outside of New York! We're in Chicago, Los Angeles and Berkely, and we've received the first pre-orders from Seattle and Portland. Viva Webstcoast!
Retailers, if you'd like to contribute to our ever-expanding success, please contact our sales rep.
