Go see the Persepolis movie, if you haven't already! It's a must for all who are in the visual arts. As we're all more or less conciously conditioned by Disney, Manga, and TV Cartoons, it's great to see such an outstanding visual language, that reminds you: "Hey, yeah, there's actually plenty other ways to do an animated film!"The second one is Across The Universe, of which I was a little secptical first, but it's really quite entertaining. There's so many insider references for all you Beatles-Geeks out there. But most of all, it contains some great visual effects that do NOT rely on 3D-modelling! (mostly in "For the benefit of Mr. Kite"). Yes, another case of, "Hey, yeah, threre's actually plenty other ways" etc etc.
