Happy New Year!

A new year for the Rabbit and a new Magazine is off to the printers! The release will be in Late January so stop by to keep updated!

Show at St. John's University

If you are in the area, make sure to check out the current Illustration and Animation Show "Kerpoef!" at St. John's University. The show is curated by Daniel DaSilva and features work by Yuko Shimizu, Nathan Fox, Mu Pan, the Rauch Brothers, Jeff Huang, Leonardo Rodriguez, and Rabid Rabbit contributors Adam Kidder and Paul Hoppe. Besides many drawings by Adam and Paul there are also some rare Rabid Rabbit objects on display. Check out their website for more infos!

Rabid Rabbit at the Brooklyn KING CON

Sorry the super late notice! but Yo if you just happen to be in Brooklyn and a surprising amount of you are- the swing on by the Brooklyn King Con and Check it and us out- for we will be there!

Society of Illustrators loves Rabbits RABID RABBITS!!

Yes- it's been a long while between posts but your ever enduring/suffering and sometimes even a little whimpering Rabbits have been busy busy bunnies (With a new issue in the works no less!) But they haven't been mindlessly sitting in front of the tube for boobs! they've been out there conquering and making illustrations and stuffs!

On that note your truly beloved/despised Editor in Chief C.M.Butzer is now on display (his work- not him... thank god) at the Society of Illustrators- A spread from his book Gettysburg- The graphic novel was selected by the society to be a part of the Orginal Art show 2009. But low and behold he is not alone- Three Rabbit contributors were also selected! Lauren Castillo! Tae Eun Yoo! and silver medaled Brian Floca! Paul Hoppe was there too- as arm-candy- don't picture it!

Summering Rabbits

Yep- been quiet in Rabid Rabbitville- often is through the middle of the summer. Recovering from the MoCCA festival is usually priority one.  But mind you just because its quiet doesn't mean we're all lounging around the pool slurping endless fuzzy navels (Except for Ben). We've started thinking about our next foray and will keep you updated- hopefully more often than not!

You can barely contain yourself. I can tell. It's okay. I understand. Rabid Rabbit #10- Rabid Rabbit's Kitty Kitty has been off the press for two weeks and yet you couldn't get unless you were awesome and went to the release party or you went to MoCCA- then you are awesome and need not need any more awesomeness. But, let's say you were unable to attend these events and just knew you were awesome and needed something tomake it official- Rabid Rabbit #10 can do that for you.

RR Release Party and MoCCA!

All things coming together at once. This Thursday, June 4th will see the Release of Rabid Rabbit #10- "Rabid Rabbit's Kitty Kitty"(full info in the previous post) and the following weekend we'll be at the MoCCA Festival scholocking our books!

Now just to spice things up- If you come to the Release Party we've cooked up a special deal- If you bring a photo- A physical photo- no stinking cell phone/ipod photo of your cat or a cat- we'll give the book at half price and a previous issue for free! That cannot be beat.

As for MoCCA we'll be at Table 310- find us and Ben will hug you- I promise!
